How Do I Choose?

This week is a busy week for me! Tomorrow I leave for Baltimore, MD; then head to Orlando, FL on Thursday; and then it's on to El Paso, TX until Saturday. Whew! I'm already tired just thinking about all those flights, security check points, over head bins, middle airplane seats, and all those little packages of peanuts. Thankfully we're serving Honey Roasted Peanuts on our flights these days.

Part of my trip is for work and part of it is for pleasure. Each year during the month of February and into the first week in March, our CEO visits six of our major cities and delivers a "State of the Company" speech, if you will. We call these visits "Messages to the Field" or MTTF for short. Thankfully, I only have to travel to two Messages this year vs. all six. Last year I went to Phoenix to hear the Message and had a WONDERFUL time. This year, I'll attend the one in Baltimore and Orlando. The good thing about going to the one in Orlando is that I'll get to see my good friend, Elizabeth, while I'm there! That's part of the pleasure, but the other part is that I'll be flying to El Paso (which isn't the exciting part) to go to a Beth Moore conference with my MIL and SIL. I've never been to a Beth Moore conference, but I've heard they're wonderful! I'm sure I'll have a full report to give once I return.

But before I go, I have to answer just one simple question: How do I choose which songs to add to my iPod? Should I pick from the Top 100 List; or from a specific genre; or maybe some oldies but goodies...

Any tips on your current fave songs?

Oooh- I LOVE Beth Moore! I'm so jealous you get to go! I hope you have a great time... I'll be praying for safe travels!

as far as the iPod- I would say load it up with a bunch of different things... I love a lot of different music, so I try to have a little bit of everything. I don't know what kind of music you like... but for long trips like that... I love Michael Buble, Dave Barnes, Matt Wertz, Monk & Neagle, Sara Bareilles, Colbie Callait... I could go on. ;) hope that helps a little bit!

Neat! You'll get to hear Travis Cottrell sing I bet for the Beth Moore Conference. He did a concert for FBC Carrollton once. Were you there for that? He's an awesome singer, one of my favorites!! His CDs are awesome by the way...especially his CD called "Found"
