The Doctor Confirms

So...after two weeks of nail biting suspense, we FINALLY had our first doctors appointment.  On Tuesday, March 8, Kel and I met up at the doctors office and walked in together.  After filling out some paperwork and little bit of a wait, we were finally called back to see the sonogram technician.  I was a little bit nervous to go into the room, but was more than ready to confirm what we already believed to be true.

Before we knew what was happening, we were looking at the screen trying to make sense of black and white blur.  The technician explained the images we were looking at, and then out of no where, we saw a little flicker on the screen.  It looked like something was swimming, but we quickly learned that we were looking at the baby's HEARTBEAT!  I could hardly believe it.  It was amazing to see the little life inside of me.  That's when it really hit us.  Kelly sqeezed my hand and I started crying.  We were witnessing one of God's little miracles!
