Well, I've successfully killed all of my plants. I mean, do I even have to ask - were you that surprised? But wait just a minute before you say "I told you so" because after some serious investigation, I have to say it wasn't entirely my fault. So the story goes a little something like this...
... everything was growing just fine, until the heat wave started to move in. And out of fear that my dear little ones might burn up, I took extra precautionary measures to water my plants every day. But that didn't seem to be doing the trick. They were still getting scorched by the sun. Or so I thought. And then a month of traveling snuck up on me, which didn't help either. And before I knew it my wave petunias were long limbs of burn leaves. When I explained the situation to my Dad he thought that I was drowning them to death. So I backed off on the plethora of water I was giving them. But then he witnessed first hand what I was dealing with. My hanging baskets weren't holding in any of the water I'd been giving them. It was all seeping out through the bottom. So you see, all along the plants were dying form a lack of water - its just in their latter days I helped speed up the process! And now that I've confessed to being a plant murderer, I've asked that my Dad, the real Green Thumb, help me at my next attempt at gardening. Hopefully, a more positive update to come in the future.

Haha, I've killed every single plant I've ever tried to keep. My poor geraniums. My husband says we can't have kids until I can keep a plant alive...
