Yesterday I went to the Chi Omega Christmas Market at the Dallas Convention Center. Tonda, one of the ladies I support, and I got to take half the day off and go to this Christmas WONDERLAND as a team building event. We both love Christmas, so we used this as an excuse to breakaway from the office and bond while shopping!
I'd never been to the Chi-O Christmas Market before, but I can definitely tell you, it will be a long standing holiday tradition from now on. The Dallas area Chi Omega Alumnae have been hosting this event for 31 years, and the proceeds from this event go to selected charitable organizations and the local community.
The "Market" is set up like any craft mall would be, with booths hosted by different vendors, all selling their specific merchandise. There were over 150 merchants with booths, so you can imagine how long it took us to visit all the booths. (We had to visit ALL of them, of course!)
It was glorious to say the least! I found some stuff for the house, great A&M decor, and some Christmas decorations! I'm just greasing my wheels for our Canton trip next week...
Here's a fun pic from yesterday's outing!
(We have Christmas in our eyes!)
