This past Sunday Mom and I went to the Dallas Museum of Arts to see the King Tutankhamun And The Golden Age of the Pharaohs Exhibition. I have to say, it was really cool, and very educational. I'm not a huge history buff, even though I would love to be; but this exhibit is very fascinating nonetheless. Tutankhamun, King Tut for short, ruled during the 18th Dynasty (1555-1305 B.C.), and all the "golden" artifacts are between 3,300 and 3,500 years old! You would NEVER be able to tell because all of the treasure have been so well preserved. If you get a chance, you should definitely go check it out. The exhibition will be in Dallas until May 17, 2009, but don't wait until the last minute - it's too good to wait that long!
