I was listening to 103.7 Lite FM on my way into the office this morning and they were talking about the individuals who are heading out to the polls to vote early. They featured a researcher (I didn't catch his name) who was saying that there is actually a gene in our DNA that indicates whether or not we are likely to even head to the polls!! Can you believe that? It has something to do with our genetic make-up and whether or not we are likely to participate in collaborative interaction. I thought it was interesting; however, I'm not sure I'm a believer just yet.
However, whether you have the gene that gets you to the polls or not, we all need to head out to vote! This is the last week for early voting as the election day is next Tuesday, November 4th!
Go to, https://team1.sos.state.tx.us/voterws/viw/faces/SearchSelectionPolling.jsp , and enter your Driver's License number to view the early polling places in your precinct.
You'd better hurry! There's not much time left.
