I mean, how can one really judge how much football is too much? Well, I can definitely tell you that my husband was on the brink of too much football this past Saturday. When I got home from the gym I found him crouched over the TV with cords, remotes, and controllers all over the floor. My first thought was, “what happened?” He said he was fixing the settings on the TV and it was “no big deal.” No big deal. Yeah right, I thought. I was running late so I left him with his mess and jumped in the shower. When I was finished getting ready, I walked back into the living room to find my husband in football heaven! He had fixed the TV so he could enable the picture in picture setting. This allowed him to watch a football game, while playing his PlayStation 3 video game at the same time! If you thought that was intense, just wait! He took the iHome from his bed side table and brought it into the living room so he could listen to the A&M game at the same time! He was so proud of himself. He looked up at me and said “I have three medias giving me updates on football at the same time!” Sweet thing. He was so proud, he was even wearing his A&M shirt during all of this.
Go. Fight. Win!?

ugh, I am so sick of hearing, "BUT THE GAME IS ON!!!!", there is ALWAYS a game on!!!!!
I thought you were going to go on a rant about having to watch too much football! I will say I love the game and always have and when I think of fall I think of football but this being the second season of 24-7 football I don't think i love it as much as I used to. M had the radio on and the game on at the same time, I don't think he thought about picture in pic but we are ususally recording 2 games on DVR while watching one so we can go back later and watch the others that we missed...get excited! Everytime I turn the tube on ESPN pops up!Loved the post!
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE FOOTBALL too! I am learning more and more about the game as the season goes by, and Kelly keeps me updated on what's happening in his Fantasy Football league. It's something he enjoys, so I enjoy it too! It's fun to watch the games together; it was just a hoot to see him completely immersed in football!
